New sculpture installed on Leicester's Golden Mile
A new sculpture has been installed at the top of Leicester's Golden Mile to mark 50 years since Ugandan Asians arrived in the City.
It was back in 1972 when our city became home for thousands as they attempted to flee the brutal dictator Idi Amin.
