Dorset man buys double-decker bus rather than house
It's a story we're all too familiar with - the difficulties of getting onto the housing ladder. But one Dorset man has come up with a creative solution.
Ed Gunner from Southbourne built a log cabin in his parents' garden when he was 14. Now, 11 years later, he's decided to move out into a 拢7,500 double-decker bus.
Ed and his partner Heidi are documenting the bus' conversion on social media - so far attracting 35.6k followers on Tik Tok.
Working on the bus one day a week, Ed says the project could take as long as five years, with plans to add a high-end kitchen and even underfloor heating.
