Grand National: reduced from 40 runners to 34
The Jockey Club have announced a number of changes to the Randox Grand National as part of the continued evolution of the world's most famous steeplechase.
They include a reduction in the number of runners and changes to the start, and are all geared towards improving welfare conditions for the horses and jockeys.
