“I've never seen so many grown men cry” - Pakistan win World Cup qualifier
Pakistan’s men’s football team made history after winning a World Cup qualifier for the first time.
The 1-0 victory against Cambodia in Islamabad was also the first match the national team have won since 2018 in what was their first home game for eight years.
The team is managed by English coach Stephen Constantine who tells Sport Today’s John Bennett about the scenes and celebrations which followed their historic triumph.
Constantine – who has also managed the national teams of India, Sudan and Rwanda – describes how momentous this moment is for a team who are made up of mostly part-time players and the challenges that brings as head coach.
