Inside the West Bank
Inside the 'incredibly tense' West Bank - the other side of the Occupied Palestinian Territories - as the number of Palestinians killed there since 7th October is now around 100.
Since the October 7th attacks by Hamas on Israel, the attention of the world has been on Gaza. Airstrikes have rained down on the Palestinian territory with thousands killed and many more injured and displaced.
And in the West Bank -- the other side of the Occupied Palestinian Territories -- it鈥檚 also been incredibly tense - even more so than in the last violent year. The number of West Bank Palestinians killed since 7th October is now around 100.
The West Bank is roughly between Jerusalem and the river Jordan, and Israel has settled hundreds of thousands of Jews there, illegally under international law, since it captured the area in the 1967 Middle East war.
In this episode of 5 Minutes On, Jeremy Bowen, our International Editor, heads inside the West Bank.
