Adam talks with Sam Michael - the host and MC of Swindon Old Town Comedy Club about his gig at Christ Church Community Centre in Swindon. Comedian Michael Kohlweg is one of the performers and he's uploaded his gag about dogs that are better behaved that most children. There's romantic fiction from Gloucester based writer Nelly Davis that tells the tale of a deaf woman named Isla and her bad-boy-turned-good farmer neighbour Gary who changes her life through a kind gesture. Wharf Writers Group from Devizes have uploaded another short audio play from their podcast 'Where's The Cat?' which explores a controlling relationship. Professor David Marks is an expert in haematology and has been documenting his career and patients stories in his memoir 'Life Blood' - we'll hear another installment that explores the stories of hope. Highworth based writer and poet Elisabeth Sherriff has uploaded two short poems that are from her support book 'Don't Let The Peas Touch The Mash' for autistic children and their families that aim to break down barriers and increase understanding of autistic traits and how they impact people. Adam also chats with psychotherapist and coach Sue Naughton-Marsh all about her brand of poetry which she calls psychopoetry. Her poem 'Imposter' helps to provide insight into dealing with imposter syndrome. Sue also shares her three part brain workout to deal with imposter syndrome too. Plus Cheltenham based writer Sharon Webster has uploaded her poem 'The Moon Dance' which captures her love of music and dancing.
