In February, Ukrainecast collaborated with 大象传媒 Newsnight on a live show to mark the first anniversary of Russia鈥檚 full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

One of the guests was Elya, who was just 17 when Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

After two weeks hiding with her family in their building鈥檚 basement, a missile strike on another floor prompted her to flee. She reunites with Victoria and Vitaly to discuss what has happened to her since.

And the 大象传媒鈥檚 Sofia Bettiza discusses Ukraine鈥檚 chances of joining the EU.
