Lukaku & Totti's Ethiopian fixer dreams of World Cup
How a lifestyle expert for sporting stars is helping Ethiopia target World Cup place
Growing-up in Ethiopia, the glitz and glamour lifestyle of Las Vegas was a distant dream for Yohanes Zewdu. Little did he know he would go onto lead a life helping to deliver a life of luxury for the world鈥檚 biggest sporting superstars.
It was a chance call from French international and then-Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri which would transform his life, having moved to the United States at the age of 10 with his mother.
After helping Nasri enjoy his stay in Las Vegas, it had a 鈥渄omino effect鈥, he started getting more and more calls from footballers and other sporting stars wanting to use him for luxury travel and concierge services.
It led to Zewdu becoming known as 鈥楯ohnny Vegas鈥 with footballers Francesco Totti, Romelu Lukaku, Bacary Sagna, and F1 driver Lando Norris among his list of clients.
He鈥檚 now also helping Ethiopia pursue their World Cup qualification dream as international liaison and strategic advisor for the Ethiopian Football Federation.
