‘The biggest weekend in the history of Las Vegas’ as F1 returns to US city
“The biggest weekend in the history of Las Vegas” that’s how the return of Formula One to the US city has been described ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The US city is no stranger to holding major sporting and international events, but this is the first time that F1 has been there since 1982.
Steve Hill, CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, explains to Sportsworld’s Lee James what can be expected from race weekend and why Las Vegas is diversifying into different sports with the city hosting Super Bowl LVII in February 2024.
