Will you be taking part in Black Friday?
Some Leicester shoppers have told us the continuing squeeze on their finances mean they won't be shopping in Black Friday sales later this week - despite the big discounts on offer.
Black Friday was designed by shops and other retailers to encourage people to start spending in the run-up to Christmas - and it's usually one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
But, when it comes to bargains, not everything is always what it seems. Campaign group Which? said that nearly nine in 10 products sold on Black Friday are available for the same price or cheaper earlier in the year.
Reporter Jorja Bloomfield has been to talk to small business owners and shoppers in Leicester to find out if they'll be taking part this year.
