'It was a lifesaver for me'
Eight libraries across Leicester and Leicestershire are playing an increasingly important role in getting people into work - so says a charity which supports the sector.
Eight sites across the city and county running an outreach service on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions providing support and advice for jobseekers.
Madhuri - not her real name - arrived in Leicester after a difficult time in India two years ago, and headed to the Belgrave Library for support from staff.
Ady Dayman has been to talk to some of the staff who make a real difference in the local community, and also meet Madhuri, who says that her library was a lifesaver when it came to finding work.
