Over the last year and a half, we鈥檝e been hearing about the idea of giving Wayne Rooney the freedom of the city. He was Derby County manager during a turbulent time for the club. A couple of local councillors thought he deserved recognition for his loyalty - but then he left the club about a month afterwards and moved to America. It鈥檚 now been confirmed once and for all that he will not be getting the honour.
