Bona Dea
Caesar is Pontifex Maximus, High Priest of Rome. After a series of political setbacks, his position offers him a chance to restore his reputation. His household must host a women-only ritual in honour of the Goddess Bone Dea who looks after the safety of Rome and its people. But when a harp-player is discovered to actually be a man in drag, and the rum our spreads that he was conducting an affair with Caesar鈥檚 wife, the sacrilegious violation of the ritual, and the gossip spreading through Rome, threatens to derail Caesar鈥檚 career.
