In November official figures showed net migration had soared to a 745,000 in 2022. Home Secretary James Cleverley yesterday unveiled a 5 point plan to bring the numbers down. He said a ban on overseas care workers bringing family dependants and an increased salary threshold for skilled workers from 拢26,200 to 拢38,700 would deliver the 鈥渂iggest ever reduction鈥. In a piece for the Sun the Prime Minister says - "enough is enough - If you can鈥檛 contribute to the UK, you鈥檙e not coming to the UK".
