The toy shop fight for a Cabbage Patch Kid
Liz Farrow's mother went into battle in a K-Mart store in Santa Cruz, California, to get her daughter a Cabbage Patch Kid.
Liz, who works for 大象传媒 Arabic, describes her experience of the US-wide craze for the dolls in the early 1980s and how parents pushed and shoved to get their hands on the toy. She speaks to Anna Doble for Pick of the World.
