Robert Jenrick resigns over Rwanda Bill + Boris Johnson gives evidence to Covid Inquiry

Today on Newscast, the former Prime Minister Boris Johnson gives evidence to the Covid inquiry in the first of a two-day questioning of his government鈥檚 handling of the pandemic.

And, the government has published emergency Rwanda legislation which makes clear that in UK law, Rwanda is a safe country for asylum seekers. Immigration Minister Robert Jenrick resigns, arguing the bill doesn鈥檛 go far enough. Adam and his guests react to this breaking news.
