From Norway to Nelson - following the Trafalgar Tree

Every year since 1947 Norway has sent a tree to Britain as a thank you for its support during World War Two.

This year, the near-20m-high (65ft) Norwegian spruce, which is around 70 years old, has been draped in energy efficient bulbs and will light up Central London until the 5th of January.

But how did the spruce, dubbed the "world's most famous Christmas tree", get from a Norwegian forest to Nelson's Column?
