Celebrating Boxing Day with a Tug of War
Traditions at this time of year come in all shapes and sizes, but in Rearsby on Boxing Day they put on one of the oldest playground games - the tug of war.
Villagers get together and battle it out, whatever the weather, all while raising money for great causes.
Hundreds gather to watch the annual event which began in the early 1960s when rival teams from The Wheel Inn and The Horse and Groom tried to pull each other into the brook.
Tom Bower and Richard Metcalf are organisers and they spoke to Ben Jackson.
