Four people rescued from fire in Hockley
Four people have been rescued by firefighters from a burning building.
West Midlands Fire Service was called to the site on Soho Hill, Hockley, Birmingham, where the building's second floor was ablaze.
A number of road closures were put in place and residents told to shut their doors and windows.
The fire service said three quarters of the building had been impacted by the blaze and that a structural engineer remained on site as the property was deemed unsafe.
