Dame Esther Rantzen: "I have joined Dignitas"
Dame Esther Rantzen has joined the Zurich-based assisted dying clinic, Dignitas.
The 83-year-old broadcaster, who lives in the New Forest and has stage four lung cancer, said she's currently receiving a "miracle" treatment, but that she has joined in case her condition gets worse.
Dame Esther said British laws need to be updated. Chief Political Correspondent Henry Zeffman explains the current British rules.
