USA basketball promise ‘real star power’ for Paris 2024
USA are promising “real star power” when their men’s basketball team go in search of a record-extending 17th Olympic gold in Paris.
Their gold in Tokyo was their fourth consecutive Olympic title and their 16th gold from the 19 tournaments they have competed in – no other nation has won more than two titles.
With NBA stars Joel Embiid, Kevin Durant, and LeBron James all confirming their interest in playing, Grant Hill, managing director of the USA Basketball Men’s National Team, tells Sportsworld's Lee James he’s expecting a “special team” to represent the US in Paris.
