Gloucester based writer Rebecca Klassen wrote a story for the Gloucestershire Writers鈥� Network 2022 competition 鈥� where it was a runner up and published in the annual anthology. The theme for the competition was 'Journeys' and Rebecca wanted to write about a physical journey intertwined with an emotional journey. JTP Theatre, based in Thornbury have uploaded an audio play which is tinged with comedy about a famous vampire that goes to an estate agent looking for a new home. Mr Mountain, who is a secondary school teacher living in Cheltenham, has submitted a poem that's about tension and awkwardness. Broad Chalke writer and poet Estelle Phillips has uploaded a circular poem that incorporates the theme of 鈥渞efuge鈥�, which was the theme for last year鈥檚 National Poetry Day. Glastonbury based poet Jane Barnes with her poem 鈥淣o More Yesterdays鈥�, that looks at starting afresh. Plus the reunner up of the 2012 hot dog eating competition Dan Hooper from Frome has uploaded his account of the contest that saw him being the focus of some cheeky flirting. Lily Bell with a short story about a feather and Bronwen Wilson Rashad from Bream in the Forest of Dean with her poem about kissing.
