Egremont man's Mexico dash for medical treatment
A man from West Cumbria has travelled to Mexico for what he hopes will be life-changing treatment for multiple sclerosis. It's a lifelong condition that can affect the brain and spinal cord, causing a wide range of symptoms. Sheldon Morfoot, who鈥檚 31 and from Thornhill near Egremont, says he鈥檚 hopeful it will halt the progress of his symptoms. He borrowed more than 拢50,000 to make the trip and is in the process of selling his house to help pay off his debts.
