UK to bring in law to quash wrongful Post Office convictions

The legal step followed public outrage after a TV drama was aired.

Between 1999 and 2015 hundreds of local post office managers in UK were convicted of theft and fraud over money that only appeared to be missing because of faults in a new IT system.
