'Whoever did this really has a sick mind'
Leicestershire Police and Crime Commissioner Rupert Matthews has praised West Midlands Police for quickly removing offensive banners from the M6 and M69 motorway bridges.
The banners were targeting Foxes fans travelling to the championship game with Coventry on Saturday afternoon, and made reference to the death of five people killed in a helicopter crash at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester said the banners mocked "the tragic events that deeply affected our club and community". Coventry said it was working with West Midlands Police to "identify those who created and displayed these banners". The club promised to ban anyone found responsible.
Leicestershire Police and Crime Commissioner Rupert Matthews has been talking to Ady Dayman.
