Gritters take to Leicetershire's roads in cold snap
Temperatures remain below freezing today as the first real cold snap of 2024 hits Leicester and Leicestershire.
We could reach minus five degrees Celsius in some parts of the East Midlands, and there's even the chance of the odd spot of snow.
That means that gritters have been working through the night to keep the roads safe. Reporter Sara Palmer joined some of the team last night at the Misterton Depot in Lutterworth.
