'Vital' and 'rare' munition archive in Hereford
Hear how this nationally important collection of 250,000 entries has arrived at Rotherwas, picking up enquiries from all over the country!
They were the workers in Hereford who risked their lives and their health to help allies during the world wars. Community historians will be working with the Herefordshire Archives and Records Centre to create a national database about the people who worked at the site.
Our reporter Kalpana Boodhoo has been to the centre to see some of the records, meeting community historian Clare Wichbold, and senior archivist Rhys Griffiths.
