‘He will go down in the history books’ – An insight into Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool
Former Liverpool defender Steven Caulker says Jurgen Klopp will go down in the club’s “history books” after the Liverpool manager announced he will step down at the end of the season.
Caulker, who played for Liverpool under Klopp during the 2015/2016 season, says although the German’s decision will have come as a “shock”, he believes it could be used as extra motivation by the players for the rest of his season.
The Sierra Leone international tells Sport Today’s Lee James what it was like to play and train under Klopp and how he now takes what he learned into his own management at Spanish club FC Málaga City.
