Lincoln MP calls for all-night street light return
The Conservative MP for Lincoln, Karl McCartney has called for a return to all-night street lighting in the city.
The majority of lights are currently switched off at midnight, but Mr. McCartney believes having every second street light illuminated overnight would address residents' safety concerns.
However Lincolnshire County Council says it has no plans to change its current policy, while Lincolnshire Police say there's no evidence that it would reduce crime levels.
