Liverpool Beano cartoonist on 70 years of The Bash Street Kids

Erbert, Freddy, Plug, Smiffy and Scotty. Fans of The Beano will know they are members of The Bash Street Kids.

And February 2024 marks the iconic gangs milestone 70th anniversary.

And to celebrate their birthday a special edition comic is being released and the front cover and story have been drawn by Liverpool cartoonist Nigel Parkinson, who's been speaking to Tony Snell
