Walsall fundraiser's shock Jonathan Ross gift
A disability campaigner says he was "thrilled" to receive a jacket from TV star Jonathan Ross after his friend reached out to the chat show host.
Andy Brown, a former nurse at Walsall Manor Hospital, was taken with the sparkly attire during an episode of the Masked Singer on which Ross is a judge.
Learning of Mr Brown's fancy, a friend contacted Ross on X, informing him of the charity volunteer's dedication.
Mr Brown said he "couldn't believe it" when a parcel arrived from the star.
Mr Brown, who has multiple sclerosis and is a support officer for the Black Country branch of the MS Society, said he told his friend Salmena Hasood-Khan how much he admired the jacket after watching the first episode of a new series.
The ex-nurse used to perform on stage wearing flamboyant costumes and was friends with the late entertainer Danny La Rue.
