'Steve gave me the greatest moment of my life'
Leicester musician Jersey Budd says he'll be forever grateful to DJ Steve Wright for playing his music on national radio after hearing him play live.
Wright, who hosted shows on 大象传媒 Radio 1 and Radio 2 for more than four decades, died on Tuesday at the age of 69.
Friends and colleagues of the broadcaster say he'll be hugely missed. The DJ's family released a statement yesterday, acknowledging he'd left behind 'millions of devoted radio listeners who had the good fortune and great pleasure of allowing Steve into their daily lives'.
Jersey Budd told Ady Dayman how Steve 'gave me one of the greatest moments of my life'.
