Leicester's St George's Day celebrations are to take place in a new location in the city with a revamped format.
The city council said the annual festival on Saturday 20th April would take place in the Old Town area around Leicester Cathedral. The celebration of England's patron saint was previously held at Orton Square.
Kate Bishop, Festival and Events Assistant at Leicester City Council explained to Letitia George that the final programme was still being finalised but will include re-enactments and stalls.
