'It's a nightmare for us and Harry's training'
The Huncote Hornets haven't been able to use the BMX track site since November 2021.
Members of a BMX club in Leicester say they're stuck in limbo, after being locked out of their track for over two years.
The Huncote Hornets haven't been able to use the site since November 2021 because of high levels of methane gas caused by landfill.
The club has been run by volunteers for 15 years, with around 200 members.
The 拢100,000 track, which was funded by National Lottery and Sport England, hosted the British BMX Championships a few months before it was forced to close.
Harry Donald, from Anstey, is currently world number two and European number one in his age group and used to train there, but has since had to travel to Derby or Birmingham to practice.
Harry's Dad Graham Donald told Ady Dayman how frustrating the current situation is, and the impact it's having.

In statement, Blaby District Council said:
To date we have spent more than 拢1/2 million pounds implementing an active gas management system on the site to reduce the levels of landfill gas, this work is ongoing.
The last part of the site which is currently under increased monitoring and management due to changing gas levels is on the area of land where the BMX track sits and the land to the rear of the leisure centre. This section has proved to be more complex, with landfill gas levels fluctuating, meaning it has been much more challenging to reduce the gas levels to a consistent and acceptable range. Additional works in this area were undertaken in November and December 2023 and monitoring of their impact is ongoing.
