American Youtube star, Ruby Franke, whose harsh parenting style built her a massive online following, has been sentenced to at least four years in prison, for child abuse.

Prosecutors said Franke, from Utah, admitted starving and torturing her six children. She was arrested last summer, when her malnourished 12-year-old son escaped to a neighbour's house and asked for food and water.

Newshour's Paul Henley spoke to Sara Peterson, the author of a book called 'Momfluenced' and asked her about the power of 'momfluencers'.
