Kelvin Kiptum: what pressures do Kenyan athletes face?
The death of Kelvin Kiptum, who took 34 seconds off the world record last year in the Chicago marathon, has shocked the athletics world
World marathon record holder Kelvin Kiptum will be buried on Friday in his village in south-western Kenya.
The 24-year-old died in a road accident two weeks ago alongside his Rwandan coach Gervais Hakizimana.
Kiptum鈥檚 death comes after several tragic incidents which have claimed the lives of Kenyan athletes in their prime.
