The Maiden: Meet sailing's Cape Horn history makers
South Africa's Vuyi Jaca, Junella King from Antigua and Maryama Seck from France became the first black women to navigate Cape Horn.
The Horn is one of the most infamous locations to navigate around. It's the southern most tip of South America, where the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans collide and many wince at the thought of trying to sail round it.
It's undoubtedly the most challenging part of the Ocean Globe Race and the history makers told Sportshour's Caroline Barker about their adventures.
