Ramsay's Minnesota MLS challenge: trophies & homegrown talent
First-team coach Eric Ramsay has left Manchester United to join Minnesota United. It will make him the youngest head coach in Major League Soccer (MLS).
The 32-year-old Welshman joined Manchester United as a coach under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in 2021. Ramsay replaces interim boss Cameron Knowles at Minnesota. The club has been without a permanent manager since parting ways with Adrian Heath in October.
Andy Greder, sportswriter for the Minnesota based St Paul's Pioneer Press, tells Sport Today's Ed Harry why Ramsay has made the move.
