Could ban mark the end of Pogba鈥檚 career?

French midfielder Paul Pogba has been banned for four years for a doping offence.

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has been banned from football for four years for a doping offence.

The French international was provisionally suspended in September 2023 after a drugs test found elevated levels of testosterone 鈥 a hormone that increases the endurance of athletes - in his system.

The ruling means the 2018 World Cup winner will be unable to play until 2027, when he will be 34, with the ban backdated to the date of the failed test.

In a statement, Pogba said he has 鈥渘ever knowingly or deliberately taken any supplements that violate anti-doping regulations鈥 and the 30-year-old confirmed he will appeal the ban.

Italian football journalist Mina Rzouki speaks to Sport Today鈥檚 Maz Farookhi about the reaction and whether the ban could mark the end of Pogba鈥檚 professional career?
