How traditional healers are improving mental health treatment
Many people with mental health problems in Africa can't access treatment so turn to traditional healers. But some use dangerous practices such as scarring or restraint. Now a psychiatrist in Nigeria has trained over 70 healers to work with orthodox medical practitioners to improve the treatment they give.
