A schoolgirl from Leicestershire has won a silver award in the 大象传媒's 500 Words competition.

6-year old Clara Webb wrote about a pony in a field near her home in Rothley.

She was picked out of 44,000 entries to be one of the final 25 in the 5-7 age-group.

Here's the moment the result was announced by the star of the film Matilda Alisha Weir on the One Show on 大象传媒 1 last night, followed by Clara's short story 'Pony with a coat on - solving crimes', read by John Lightbody from the 大象传媒 Radio Drama company.
