Green fingered experts in a secret greenhouse propagate genetic clones of the iconic tree, in a bid to preserve the cultural and historical legacy of this northern landmark. Its cutting down caused a national outcry, and it's hoped that in time the gap in Hadrian's Wall will once again have its sycamore back.
