St John's Market closed with immediate effect
Sad news that St John's Market in Liverpool City Centre has been closed with immediate effect.
The City Council say they've taken the decision because they say they're owed more than 1.7 million pounds of unpaid rent going back to 2020, and that they've tried to negotiate a repayment with traders, but talks have failed.
It means the 43 traders at the market have been told to collect their stock.
