Bluebird home and dry in Coniston
Twenty three years after the speed boat was salvaged it's now safely in the Ruskin Museum in a wing specially built for her. Donald Campbell died when his ill-fated hydroplane crashed in 1967, when he attempted a a water speed record on Coniston Water. The museum has plans to see her run again after the craft has been returned to working order.
