Statue must go

Cambridge City Council has ordered a faceless sculpture of Prince Philip outside an office on Hills Road to be removed.

The 13 foot bronze statue commemorates Prince Philip's 35 years as chancellor of the University of Cambridge.

It was put up without planning permission and councillors aren't happy about it.

The council's now waiting to hear if the company that put up the statue wants to appeal the enforcement notice for the statue to be taken down. The Unex Group has been approached by the 大象传媒 for comment.
