It's estimated that one out of every 100 people is on the autistic spectrum and 2.6 million people in the UK have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
According to the Nuffield trust think tank, 24% of patients are having to wait one to two years for an ADHD assessment.
And there are over 1.5 million adults and children waiting for an autism assessment.
