How easy is it for you to make a GP appointment?
A new survey has found it's harder to contact your GP in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland than anywhere else in the country.
Almost 46% of patients in the city and two counties said they found it difficult to get in touch with their surgery.
That compares with a nationwide average of 31 percent, according to a joint poll by NHS England and the Office for National Statistics.
People in Leicester told us how they feel about trying to get a GP's appointment; Dr Grant Ingrams, the Chair of The Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Local Medical Committee who represent GPs in the area spoke with Ben Jackson, and Ella Wilson, the practice manager of Severn Surgery and local GP Dr Umesh Roy spoke to Ady Dayman.
An NHS England Spokesperson has told us that work is ongoing to reduce the longest waits for patients. Almost two-thirds of people are happy with their experience with GP surgeries, and millions more are being given appointments compared to before the pandemic.
