Hampshire cricket yet to ball a bowl in Durham.
Hampshire will be hoping they can finally get their 2024 season underway on Day three at Durham.
Heavy rain in the last few weeks and more overnight over the last two days have rendered the outfield too wet to play.
"Its the bowlers run ups, not the pitch." said Hampshire Head coach Adi Birrell referring to the wet areas. "It's where the water has run off the covers on either side thats really saturated."
