How to spot chronic UTIs
Urinary tract infections (UTIs) could be prevented for up to nine years with an oral spray vaccine, a 鈥渂reakthrough鈥 British trial has found. Dr. Ranj tells us what this means, particularly for people who suffer with chronic UTIs - when someone has recurring symptoms that don't go away after antibiotics, and urine tests do not show an infection.
It's estimated that 1.7 million women in the UK suffer from them, yet it has only been publicly recognised as a condition by the NHS in the last few years. Dr. Ranj explains how to spot symptoms, what to say to your GP, and how longer-term antibiotics could help.
