Turing ‘owed’ a better memorial
The area surrounding a blue plaque for Alan Turing in Cambridge has been described as ‘scuzzy’.
The plaque commemorating the life of the mathematician and World War Two codebreaker is surrounded by bins and dirty telephone exchange boxes on Kings Parade.
Writer Emilie Silverwood-Cope believes he is ‘owed’ something more suitable.
